CAMPING DE PEYROCHE

Not a bad camping site, but there's just too much noise in the evening and at night. Out of the 10 nights we stayed here, we had to endure loud music 9 times. Part of the noise isn't due to this camping but comes from town on the other side of the river. Strangely, also the camping organises music events (karaoke, disco, live band) with heavy beats that continue 'till midnight. I have no clue why a campsite directed at families with small children would think this is a good idea, certainly when there's already so much noise from accross the river. At the disco night fewer than 50 people were enjoying the music while the rest of us was praying for the music to finally stop. I camp because I want to get back to nature. This campsite is so close to a town that everyone who does want to party can just go there. On top of the noise from the camping and the town, there's also people who think it is appropriate to put a boombox on in front of their tent. This could be a good camping, but if you're looking for some peace and quiet, skip this place. If you don't mind noise and music this is a good place with clean facilities close to a very nice place to swim.

Amazing camping with helpful staff The staff is amazing. We arrived late, way after the reception closed, but the staff still made sure we had all the information we needed. Once we found or campsite a member of the staff came around and asked us if we needed anything. The showers/toilets were clean and well maintained which was great. The camping had a lot of space and was very peaceful.

Avoid if you are British. Discussing bunch of Xenophobes. Walked straight back out of the place only wanted a drink!
