Latest reviews for CAMPING DOMAINE DU CROS D'AUZON
Nice, friendly and helpful staff. When there was a very short power outage and the air con stopped working, they made everything to mend it as soon as possible. The room was nice, clean, newly refurbished. The bed was comfortable. The area is nicely kept, the only thing I missed were programmes. There is something every evening but mainly for kids. I totally understand, this is a family resort mainly, but it would have been great to see some quality programs for adults.Otherwise, it was a pleasure to be there.
Absolutely lovely setting, with amazing views. The local restaurant surprised us with high quality meals and very affordable price tag.
This review is for the Hotel and with that the general facilities.- hotel room is nice and spacious. Looks fairly newly renovated. The matras of the bed was a 6.5 / 7. Which is a bit of a pity. A good night sleep is one of the most important things in a Hotel.- all the signs and all the menus and all the descriptions are in French. Reception ladies were friendly, effective and spoke English, at the pool not.- at the pool…… my swim lasted 1 minute. My swimming trousers (which they clearly are with an inside trouser) look like shorts and shorts are not allowed…… only tight swimming wear. Which me and my sons don’t even have…… (we don’t like it). Disappointing.- will have to find a translation app now to see if I can translate the menu of the restaurant which was hanging outside (no personnel yet it was 18:45). We may skip and jump into the car.All in all the place looks nice enough and the swimming pool was full. But as always with France, you have to be able to speak French to truly enjoy a vacation in France. Most people here won’t even try to come your way, just makes you feel unwanted. We are only passing through on our way to Spain, so we’ll live with it.Overall grade from this perspective: 7
Amazing , beautiful scenery and setting, very nice staff everywhere. So happy I stayed here again in the stunning , natural region of ardeche.
Very good for wheelchair access and welcoming for people with physical and mental disabilities. But food not veggie friendly!
