Latest reviews for CAMPING LA PLAGE DES TEMPLIERS
I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Have returned several times - love the peace, the beauty, the silence, the birds of prey, the fresh water, caves, trees, stillness, rapids, rock pools, diving spots... long list of likes and short list of dislikes (too many noisy kayaks!)If you're thinking of visiting- do it!
A fantastic massage for two by Lucia Sachs and Pierre Jouvin at Camping Plage des Tempeliers. A very connected experience with much professional skills and real carefulness. We loved it!
Lovely naturist family friendly campsite situated down a gorge next to the Ardeche river. If you don't want the hassle of erecting your own tent at the many tent pitches the are pre-erected tents you can stay in with a small fridge, tables and chairs, crockery, lighting and beds. Bring your own linen though. No wheelchair access. You park your car at the top of the gorge in a car park and walk down a path into the gorge, taking about 15 to 20 minutes. You can make use of a cablecar platform to lower your camping gear and luggage down to the campsite. There is a small shop on site, a very basic restaurant if you don't fancy cooking one night, and a tiny bar. The communal showers and toilets are very clean. There is a volleyball net amongst the trees, boules area, one can rent a canoe, and there are plenty of opportunities for swimming in the river or walking along trails along the river. We did a 2 day kayak session down the river. We climbed out of the gorge and drove to a place near Pont D'Arc where we hired a kayak, stopped at our campsite overnight and completed the kayak trip the next day. We were brought back to the start point to collect our car after which we went back to the campsite.A lovely place to unwind, relax and feel refreshed afterwards.
Great camping for nature lovers. Unfortunately i left my actioncam at the toilets and it got stolen. I hope that the person who did this can contact me and return my camera or at least the sd card. The pictures on it are very important to me.
You can't be afraid to shed your clothes AND you can't be afraid of heights.
