Latest reviews for CAMPING VIEUX VALLON
What a perfect campsite to stay. Sylvie and her husband are super kind, helpful hard workers. Although English wasn't an option we understood each other perfectly. The view from the tent site was absolutely phenomenal, the campsite itself is nothing fancy but just the way we like it. Nice pool, clean sanitary, hot showers and enough trees to keep you dry from rain or to have shadow from the sun. It's a great base for hikes, canoeing, canyoning, visiting small cute French towns and shopping. We had an amazing week! Thank you so much Sylvie!Would not recommend to go there, just to make sure there is some space left for me/us next year 😆😆
This is a review in particular for pitch 16 (or 19?) just next to the sanitary block. This is what I got when reserving via the internet. My review will not apply for the whole campsite. However, my resume: The worst night at a campsite that I ever had, and this is a title really difficult to earn. We stayed at place 16 (or 19?). The sinks for washing dishes are not even 3 meters away. The toilets will start at a distance of maybe six meters. So until midnight, it was impossible to even think about sleeping because of people doing the dishes. Afterwards, it remained impossible due to people using the toilets, and terrible smells associated with these activities. In my opinion, this pitch, and most likely also the neighboring, ones should never have been offered. Especially not at this price. I complained, but no solution was proposed - also no refund or reduction. So I am not only not satisfied, but utterly disappointed. My kids liked the swimming pool, and the village is accessible via a path starting directly at the camping. So I give two stars. But otherwise, this was a terrible experience for me.
Great quiet campsite a short walk into the village. We stayed in one of the cabins, which was a bit warm without a fan but not too hot.Really easy to get to things (Pont D'Arc is a 30 min walk/5min drive) and plenty of routes to walk. The pool was very much needed so nobody cared that it was pretty cold (it was a welcome escape from the heat!)
Wonderful small campsite, the pool was lovely and the owners kept it open longer for us as it was so hot the week we were there. It's convenient location to get to the river and town. Owners were very friendly and helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff, helped me organise my rafting excursion with the kids (with rabate), ordered sandwiches for us and they were available for any advice. Toilets were clean and good location, close to the town and activities (walking distance). We enjoyed our stay very much
