CAMPING ISERAND

This is the best camping ground i've ever been to! The owners, Christine and Magali, are extremely kind and always available. They will have a chat with you and help in any way they can, but they are not overbearing or intrusive. The camp is super clean, basic amenities like soap and toilet paper were always supplied in the toilets, a washer/drier is available. There are many different placements to choose from, and the slope of the hill allows for some privacy. The food and drinks were also really good and very reasonably priced, with some options for both vegetarians and meat-eaters. I was there a bit off season, so I missed the opening of the pool, but it looked so relaxing with the lounge chairs. A good-sized playground is also available and many many nature walks are in close proximity. All in all, I can only encourage you to visit this place and I plan to go back as soon as I can and this time take a swim in the pool!

We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. Very nice area and small town. Campsite is well laid out with some beautiful trees and scrubs and all are marked to show you what they are. Facilities were good and clean, hard to find a fault.

Lovely hosts, calm and relaxed setting. Good pool. Great local restaurant (Les Platanes?) I genuinely wished I'd stayed longer than 3 nights. Photo is from a great bike ride whilst here. Campsite is in the bottom middle.

This was our favorite camping of our holiday in France! The reason is absolutely the atmosphere and service. The atmosphere is really ‘at ease’ and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful with a lot of attention for details like hammocks and lights in tree’s. Combine that with a very personal approach (she knows your name by the end of your stay) and high service, and you’ll find yourself a second home here. You can just feel that Christine and her team put a lot of love in this place 🥰Other pluspoints: she speaks very good English, the pool is great and the smoothies at the bar to. The first night I was a bit worries about the trains, but it didn’t affect my sleep at all :-)See you next time Christine!

Very nice and friendly staff in a well kept camping site on the ViaRhôna. Camping site has all amenities you can expect and a nice swimming pool.Home made Pizzas are delicious.Perfect location to take a break cycling the ViaRhôna or to spend calm en sunny holidays in the region.
