CAMPING LE LAC

We spent a few days at Camping Le Lac in August and can absolutely recommend it. The site is beautifully situated on the lake and the sights in and around Carnac can be reached quickly. Bicycles can also be rented directly at the camp. The facility is well maintained and the sanitary facilities are super clean. The bistro serves simple but always freshly prepared food that you can eat with a beautiful view of the lake and the animal enclosure. Particularly noteworthy is the super friendly and helpful staff. They even helped us find an alternative campsite when they didn't have a free spot for us on the first day. We would definitely come again. Max and Annette

Absolutely beautiful, a real hidden gem. The staff are warm and welcoming - nothing is too much trouble. It's a lovely quiet site. Beautiful clean showers and Toilet block. Cannot wait to go back.

Lovely campsite, loved the pool, staff all very friendly. Take away pizza was very tasty and great value. What spoilt our stay was the group of adults that camped next to us on our last night. Shouting and drinking till gone 4am,one of the women throwing up loudly, luckily my children slept through it. I did not. Laundry area could do with a revamp, but still use able

Went there in May 2022 and stayed for 6 nights. It’s a really beautiful campground, perfect if you look for peace and quiet in a fantastic surrounding. Close to Carnac, Quiberon and the Belle Ile it’s a true paradise.I would estimate that it’s 70 : 30 between all kinds of bungalows/mobile homes and actual camp pitches, so you have a lot of choices in different price ranges. We stayed in our camper van on a great pitch directly by the lake.Washrooms seem to be very new and are kept in good order, the swimming pool with a view of the lake must have been renovated recently, reception and playgrounds are new as well.The staff is really friendly and helpful, and as a bonus there are the cutest little goats you can imagine. :-) (see pictures)About the dogs some reviewers mention: We were told that in the neighborhood there is a kennel with quite a few hunting dogs which like to “express themselves “. We took this as part of a really unique nature experience and had six (!) good night’s sleeps. If you’re sensitive, bring ear plugs (always a good idea on a campground). If you’re very sensitive, this might not be the right place for you.All in all: We loved it here and will certainly return in a heartbeat!

We’ve just left this site, the site is on a beautiful lake which you can cycle around. The staff were all very lovely and welcoming. There was lots for the children to do (a park, a trampoline, mini bouncy castle and goats on site.)The facilites were okay, the shower drain was very slow so you had to dress at the caravan as you were stood in water. The washing facilités were very dated and need updating but perfectly useable.The pool is lovely, with a large window out to the lake.Pitches were a good size where we were, there were smaller ones around so I’d make sure you ask for a larger pitch.The dogs were quite loud at night, but with ear plugs/ fan going they really weren’t that bad.Also very close to La Trinité sur mer which is just beautiful with lots of restaurants/ cafes and crêperies. Will definitely be back again
