Superb campsite on crystal clear lakeside. Abundance of recreational water sports and play areas for children nearby. Very clean Generous pitches with all services . Mature gardens. Helpful staff. Lovely walks just outside site to be explored.Great value: camper van/ 2 persons/ dog £20 night .
Great place close to the lake. Don't go if you expect a camping with a beach. You can get in the water but you have to do so climbing down some rocks and there is some grass to spread your towel on. For the beach you have to go about 2km to Gérardmer. Sanitary provisions are good, as are the prices. The place is great for cycling and hiking away from. Will visit again!
3 nights with camper - 1 quiet, 2 noisy !2 nights, a different group wild people , drunk , drugs taking? , with children. Crazy! Everybody complained so they had to leave the camping. ...but another group came and showed the same level of behavior.Freedom ends where.... you know...?!But , anyway , we enjoyed our stay!!! Friendly , nice , clean , all you want !!
Feels like a 'camping municipale', no frills, friendly staff, infrastructure could use an update. On the (swimmable) lake, great view. Walking distance from the town. Surrounded by hiking paths
We stayed here (in a tent) for 2 nights. Plenty of well sized plots that you walk around and choose before booking. There is a snack bar where you can also order bread and croissants for the morning. As we were in a tent with limited resources we had breakfast in the cafe which was nice. Pleasant walk from the lakeside site into the town. What let’s this place down is the changing facilities. They are outdated and smell. They are not cleaned well and there are no seats on the toilets. Showers are warm and we didn’t ever have to queue to use the facilities.
