FLOWER CAMPINGS LA STÉNIOLE

Was hoping for a peaceful campsite in a National park. Music blaring from the bar area did not make for a peaceful atmosphere.Unsupervised children making an awful mess in the bathrooms near the ‘lake’ by filling up buckets of dirt and using the sink to fill with water. Showers not particularly clean either.Disappointed as had hopes of a good campsite from the website description and some other reviews.

I really liked this campsite in the forest, very quiet when we went so we enjoyed the down time. Lovely big pitches and we enjoyed the freecamp with the private loo!Lady at reception was nice and polite too. We don’t care for the swimming pool so didn’t use it and can’t comment on it.We will return in the warmer months when there is a bit more life!

The staff were extremely nice and answered all my questions. The campsite was very clean. The location is very remote, so bring as much as you can do avoid having to drive into town. Very nice pools. My only suggestion is that they mention the camping electrical blue CEE Adapter on their website. I had never hear of one of these as I have never been camping with access to electricity. Luckily I found it researching camping with electricity. I would recommend to friends.

Perfect camping for families due to the different swimming options and availability of personal fire pits. Take care for the camping sites at the nature pool with small children, there is no barrier to prevent falling into the pool. The facilities (sink, toilet and shower) are rather small for the amount of camping spots though.

We were welcomed by uninterested, unfriendly staff. While the campsite looks great on photos, we were placed on an open field without any privacy. Outdated and dirty toilets & showers. Rather small swimming pool for the size of the campsite. No WiFi on the camping itself. Not worth the money (and the ridiculous €20 reservation fee). PS. there’s no 3G/4G available on this campsite!
