CAMPING MUNICIPAL LE DOMAINE DE LONGEMER

Note : the indoor pool is not so much heated , it’s still cold.Internet is extra payment : but don’t work well even after payment .The toilets shower can be more clean .The small playing room have not so much interesting things .I would give 3 Starts

Was quite concerned by some of the reviews before we visited but the campsite was great. Yes there are not enough washrooms, yet the other reviews about them being dirty I found to be more about the ground outside and mud being carried in than the standard of cleaning, I've stayed at much worse municipals! Location was great, food & service in the bar/cafe were also great. Pitches were a bit close together for my liking and communication about activities not happening wasn't good, so 2 disappointed children on 3 nights out of 4bwhen the disco either didn't happen or started earlier than advertised, though the kids club activities during the day were good. Easy walk into the village & a lovely boulangerie there, would recommend that too! Easy access to the lake just across the road and some lovely walks in the area.

Large camping pitch with water and electricity points clpse by. Facilities very clean. Not enough WCs for size of camp site. Restaurant with wide choice of dishes and good quality.Site convenient for lake.

Very good camping with clean and spacious pitches. The lake is 2min walk and perfect for warm summer days. The only issue were the regular French visitors who own standing caravans. They stare at you and boss you around about what you should or not do. So avoid pitches around 40-60. For the rest everything else was well organised.

Nice site at the lake. We rented a little chalet which had a terrace overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. With the morning sun on the terrace this is a very good place to have breakfast with the fresh bread that can be ordered at the reception. Chalet was clean and offered enough comfort. Lying in bed I kept rolling to the middle which was a surprise to the friendly owners of the camping as they had just replaced the bed. She promised to have a look at it and fix it for the next guests.
