CAMPING LA DIGUE
The La Digue campsite is located in the heart of southern Ardèche in the small town of Chauzon, a few kilometers from Ruoms, an important tourist and commercial center.
The Ruomsois region, highly appreciated for its mild Mediterranean climate and the beauty of its four crystal-clear rivers, is the privileged domain of canoeing and kayaking enthusiasts, bicycle lovers (mountain biking and road cycling), and swimmers. Many climbing and hiking sites are nearby the campsite.
In the heart of 7 hectares of nature directly along the Ardèche River, it offers you shaded pitches and a range of comfortable accommodations from mobile homes for 2/8 people to chalets that can accommodate from 4 to 7 people.
A heated swimming pool consisting of a paddling pool and a large pool surrounded by a wide sunbathing area with loungers is at your disposal for pleasant moments of relaxation.
A stay in Ardèche without a canoe descent is simply unimaginable! Therefore, the campsite offers you a rental service with 4 routes that will allow you to go canoeing alone, with family or friends.
In high season, children's activities are organized, and 2 evenings with DJs and live music are scheduled per week. Not to forget the themed restaurant evening according to the chef's creativity. All in a friendly and family atmosphere.
Regarding services, in addition to a grocery store offering local products and a selection of wines, a snack/bar restaurant pizzeria is at your disposal with the option of half-board or full-board. Group accommodation(hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers, families, reunions, etc.) is also possible, allowing you to tailor your stay according to your needs and desires.

Really fantastic little campsite. Small, intimate and relaxed campsite. Still it has everything one needs. Super friendly and helpfull staff. Facilities were very clean. The swimmingpool is just perfectly sized and our son loved hanging out there. We also booked a kayaking trip that had its end stop right at the campsite, which was super convenient. We made some lovely daytrips from the campsite, as there are many beautiful sites to visit nearby.

Great camping, perfect location (next to river in the beautiful area of Ardèche), small scale, with all required facilities available & more. The only downside is a lack of toilet seats. Would definitely recommend.

The campsite is very nice, with a friendly owner, a beautiful swimming pool, unfortunately we could not order cocktails in June, the bar was closed, Chauzon is a small village, with an extremely narrow road. We therefore drove carefully to avoid damage to the car, an older woman in an older Renault started signaling behind us, shouting from the car in French, that we 'Dutch couldn't drive, and she was done with tourists'. .. She kept honking until we passed. I think it's a pity that many drivers in the Ardeche are so impatient, with tailgating... A total difference with Spain, where they drive a lot more calmly and politely. People have little patience. but the campsite was fantastic despite this incident thank you.

We had a great stay at this camping. Beautiful location, very friendly and warm staff. Super clean

It's a very nice camp site with friendly staff. There are a lot of spots with plenty of shade. The swimming pool is large enough with a deep part and a shallow pool for the little ones. The site is 150 meters from the river Ardeche. Lot's of families. They organize kayak trips from the camp site (age 7+) !The restaurant is fine and they've got a small shop (large supermarket in Ruoms at 15 min.). Restrooms are kept clean and the showers were very warm. It wasn't that busy this year (which was nice for us, though difficult for the owners of course).
