Which campsite with ecolodges to rent? choose for your holiday in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes?
Behind camping in an ecolodge lies a mode of tourist accommodation that meets environmentally friendly ecological criteria.
It therefore aligns with the recent trend of ecotourism or so-called responsible tourism. Although there is no official label today, the ecolodge is recognized by ecological labels such as ecotourism or green tourism at both European and national levels, as the main goal is to preserve nature from the tourist impact through respect for the local environment.
An ecolodge must therefore be built with natural, healthy, and recyclable materials. It must be energy-efficient, have effective waste management (exemplary rehabilitation of the site for seasonal rentals, for example), and of course fit perfectly into its operating location.
Under the term "Eco-lodge" a wide variety of unusual accommodations are grouped. This can include state-of-the-art lodges set up on a beach that are dismantled at the end of each season, but also permanent structures such as tree houses, or semi-buried in the heart of a forest, or on stilts by a lake. The imagination of the designers is the only limit to their desire to make their ecolodge as unique as possible.
